A covered patio turns a back door into an outdoor room you can actually use in June and in October. We build the structure, roof it, finish the ceiling and tie it into the house so it reads as part of the home rather than an add on.
Pergolas, carports and covered side entries all get the same treatment. Real framing, proper flashing where the structure meets the wall, and a finished ceiling instead of exposed rafters.
We coordinate the surface underneath too, whether that is pavers, gravel or a poured slab.
